With a crime rate that is 24% higher than the provincial average and 56% higher than the national average, but the largest RCMP detachment in Canada, it's time for Kelowna to begin the process of transitioning to a municipal police force to increase accountability, reduce crime and curtail the vagrancy and open drug use that has unfortunately grown so prevalent over the last few years.

By re-orienting the city's transportation plan to better meet the needs of today, taking a leadership position on micromobility, prioritizing investments on both roadway maintenance and multi-use pathways, and obtaining a formal partnership with the province to commence work on a much-needed rapid transit line all to reverse Kelowna's trend of rising congestion.

Indexing short-term rental license fees to long-term rental vacancy rates, incentivizing new and innovative uses for existing sites and structures, ensuring future projects provide community value in the near term, and working to showcase Kelowna's key sectors - all part of a comprehensive plan to increase affordability, employment options, and residents' quality of life.
